The project work is entitled as the “Quotation Plus” for the working model of quotation done using C language with required data structures compiled with Turbo C++ compiler. The goal of this software is to produce the quotation as per the requirements. Along with this the software provides some utilities which helps to prepare quotations. The software provides X window environment. This provides a greater user friendly system especially for MS DOS users. Each option can be opened in separate window other than the working window. The X window information presentation system is used to display the system notifications and errors. Additional tools such as desktop clock, screensavers makes the system more attractive. The software provides a great security and hides everything from the user. Users can add passwords to avoid the unauthorized access to the quotation files. Along with this the software provides several settings and editors. The editors provide editing environment for both quotation files and components file. The software provides minimal help which contains the installation instructions and procedure to build quotation. In addition to this the software provides printing option for both MS DOS and windows printers, thus computerizing the task of making quotation.
